You will be given 60 minutes to read three texts and answer 40 questions.
Improve your ability to skim and scan the reading passages so that you can rapidly locate the pertinent paragraph for the question. Learn to spot key words and underline them – don’t spend more than 2 minutes reading the passage as a whole. You will be able to return to the passage after you know what information the question needs. If some of the text vocabulary seems unfamiliar to you , do not panic just try to understand the context in which the word is used.
Identify the main point of the passage and its central themes. When you have to identify answers as True/False/Not Given, the information must be presented in the passage in the same or a similar way as in the question to be True.
Practice paraphrasing long passages into a few words – three sentences or less so that you learn to capture the main idea and not waste additional time on unnecessary details.
